Funny People: Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Betty White and Tracy Morgan

Two of the funniest people are on their way to The Oprah Show together—Steve Carell and Tina Fey! Plus, Tracy Morgan and the unstoppable Betty White.
This is the tapping we attended on Saturday.   This show airs on Tuesday, April 6th.  So tune in, who knows- you just might see us?

Jody and I went to see Jamie Foxx here in OKC. It was a good time, but i was somewhat disappointed. It wasn't quite what I had expected. I was hoping he would also do some comedy during the show, but he just sang, which sounded great once they fixed his sound, but he did several remixes with a live band so it just sounded different.
We sure can't complain about the interesting people we saw that night. Even the comedian who opened the show went on and on about how everyone dressed to come out to the show- it was very entertaining. I still love Jamie Foxx and had a great night.

Time at The Beyond

So this weekend we finally finished up our wedding registry and I am so glad were done! Its a lot of work, I had no idea. Saturday we spent most of the day at Bed.Bath.and.Beyond, it was nuts and they were very busy! I just didn't want to make anymore decisions after being there for so long. Towards the end Jody knew I was fading fast and decided to enlighten me with a puppet show....
I could not resist pulling out my camera when I saw his eyes light up once he stopped at the silicone animal oven mitts, the funny thing is he had no idea I was watching him.

Night of Laughs

Part of Jody's birthday were tickets to Ralphie May at the Firelake Grand Casino. Ralphie appeared in the 1st season of the series Last Comic Standing, where he finished as first runner-up.

Saturday night my friend Heather got a bunch of us tickets to see Jeff Dunham, who is a Ventriloquist and Stand-Up Comedian. He is my new favorite comedian- halarious! He is shooting a new Christmas DVD next week and in order for it to be on shelves by Novemember. He mostly did all new material, so he could pratice before he starts filming. I laughed so hard I was crying. The opening act Brian Haner-aka "gutar guy"was halarious also, I liked it cause Jeff included him in his show a lot!!!
The show was out at FireLake Grand Casino, which is outside of Shawnee, OK. and we met some locals after the show too. We all had such an awesome time- well worth the drive!!

Night at the Improv

Pablo Francisco is known for his off-the-wall sound effects and vocal impressions. We went to the Improv on Sat night. Pablo was pretty funny and quite crazy, which most comedians are. We had a good time and the chips and queso -yummy, so that was a bonus in my book!

Comedy and Laughs...

Tonight we went to see Tammy Pescatelli at Kansas City's The Majestic Comedy Club. Tammy was one of the finalists on the 3rd season of Last Comic Standing. She was pretty good, but we both thought the guy before her was funnier- its strange when it works out that way the opener is funnier than the person you go to see. I had a wonderful time and even got to take home a souvenir Majestic glass to add to my collection!!
