I'm deathly afraid of heights. I'm not sure when it started, but have been most of my life. While in Chicago last week we visited the SkyDeck of Willis Tower on the 103rd floor (formerly known as Sears Tower). I am happy to say I accomplished something huge. I never would have thought I'd be able to go out onto the glass SkyDeck ledges in my life, but we both did it. I did panic for a second and let Jody go first- my hands and feet were sweating big time. After I realized he didn’t fall thru the glass-bottom ledge. I sat down on my rear and slid out backwards not looking back.
I have to say, I'm very proud of myself for doing it. It was one of the most audacious things I've done in my life!
Here is Jody- fearless as can be!
Here I am trying not to look terrified as I am sitting
1,300 feet above ground in a glass box!
Yikes! Do you have the courage to step onto The Ledge?
Currently the tallest building in the US.
(108-story- 1,451 feet skyscraper)
